Quick Tea Time Biscuits

Ingredients:
- 100g of all-purpose flour
- 50g of unsalted butter
- 50g of sugar
- 1 egg
- 5g of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- pinch of salt

Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the mixture and mix well until combined.
- In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a soft dough forms.
- Scoop out small amounts of dough and roll them into balls, then place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space in between.
- Flatten each ball slightly with the back of a fork or your fingers.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack before serving with tea.
