Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of whole grain bread
  • 100g of cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 50g of mayonnaise
  • 20g of Dijon mustard
  • 50g of celery, chopped
  • 20g of red onion, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 lettuce leaves

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Spoon
  • Toaster

Instructions:

  • Toast the slices of whole grain bread until golden brown.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, mayonnaise, mustard, chopped celery, and red onion.
  • Mix well and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Spread the chicken salad mixture evenly onto one slice of toasted bread.
  • Top with a lettuce leaf and place the other slice of bread on top to complete the sandwich.
  • Cut the sandwich in half and serve.
