Quick Apple Pie for Two

Ingredients:
- 2 medium apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 100g of granulated sugar
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- 1 tbsp of lemon juice
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 20g of butter, diced

Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).
- In a mixing bowl, toss the sliced apples with granulated sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice until well coated.
- Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish, pressing it down gently.
- Fill the pie crust with the apple mixture and dot with diced butter.
- Cover the pie with another layer of pie crust, sealing the edges and cutting slits for steam to escape.
- Brush the top with a beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
- Cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
