- 2 hamburger buns
- 2 slices of cheese (optional)
- Lettuce leaves
- 2 slices of tomato
- Pickles (as desired)
- Ketchup (as desired)
- Mustard (as desired)
Kitchen Tools Needed:
- grill
- spatula
- mixing bowl
- measuring cups
- knife
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- Divide the meat mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
- Preheat the grill over medium-high heat.
- Cook the burger patties on the grill for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes. If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking to allow it to melt.
- While the burgers are cooking, toast the hamburger buns on the grill until lightly golden.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the cooked patty, a slice of tomato, and pickles. Add ketchup and mustard to taste before placing the top half of the bun on the burger.
- Serve immediately with your favorite side.
