Fluffy Pancakes with Maple Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 150g all-purpose flour
  • 10g baking powder
  • 30g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 200ml milk
  • 30g unsalted butter, melted
  • Maple syrup for serving

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Frying pan
  • Spatula

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  • In another bowl, beat the egg and then add the milk and melted butter to it, mixing well.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined (some lumps are okay).
  • Heat a frying pan over medium heat and grease it lightly with some butter or oil.
  • Pour a ladleful of batter onto the hot pan and cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Flip the pancake and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
  • Repeat with the remaining batter, keeping the cooked pancakes warm.
  • Serve the pancakes warm drizzled with maple syrup.
