Ingredients:

  • 100g of all-purpose flour
  • 50g of granulated sugar
  • 30g of brown sugar
  • 50g of unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp of baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp of salt
  • 70g of chocolate chips

  • Baking sheet
  • Whisk
  • Measuring cups
  • Measuring spoons

Instructions:

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar, and whisk until creamy and smooth.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract to the mixture, and stir until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  • Using a spoon or your hands, scoop out small portions of dough and place them onto the prepared baking sheet, spaced apart.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Remove from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
