Ingredients:

  • 250g of pizza dough
  • 200g of crushed tomatoes
  • 150g of mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  • On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a round shape.
  • Place the rolled-out dough on a baking sheet.
  • Spread the crushed tomatoes evenly over the pizza dough.
  • Tear the mozzarella cheese into pieces and distribute them over the tomato sauce.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the top and season with salt and pepper.
  • Place fresh basil leaves evenly on the pizza.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a minute before slicing into wedges.
